Forge Your Steel Body

Scythe School is simple: build stance and structure like Karate, keep timing honest like Boxing, recover and align through Yoga, and make decisions with Niten Ichi Ryu strategy.

The Awkward Secret

The scythe is awkward on purpose. It is long, offset, and unforgiving. It exposes posture, breath, and timing errors instantly. That’s why we use it: if you can control an awkward tool, every other weapon becomes easier. The scythe forces clean stance, honest footwork, and real recovery arcs. No shortcuts survive its leverage.

Karate gives the skeleton: hips under ribs, spine tall, hands disciplined. Boxing keeps the rhythm alive: beat, half-beat, enter, exit. Yoga keeps you from collapsing when fatigue shows up. And Musashi’s lens—distance, initiative, rhythm—keeps the mind quiet and the intent clear.

We don’t add drama. We remove it. We keep what works under pressure and discard the rest. When the scythe stops feeling awkward, you’ve built something real—because you earned control where control is hard.

“Master the awkward and the simple becomes obvious.”
